Eureka Springs is a unique place to visit. It has a lot of great places to shop, eat and stay. It is one of my favorite places to go. They have many one of a kind type of shops with lots of antiques. If you are a cat lover be sure to visit Kitty, Kitty, Kitty, in down town Eureka Springs, which is a cat lovers paradise. Eureka is a honeymoon treat also and you can get married there at a great number of places. There are a lot of great places to eat in Eureka Springs. There are several breakfast buffets that we really enjoyed. There is German and Italian food places also. We really loved Grandma's Beans & Cornbread in Pine Mountain Village. They serve more than that and it's a good place to have a quick and delicious meal. There is a lot of shopping to be done in Eureka Springs. One of the best places to go to shop and be entertained is Hand Crafted Candles. We were there and watched the owner Pat make a candle that I bought for my mom.
If you want to be spoiled you need to go to the Rock Cottage Gardens. They have beautiful cabins decorated with antiques. There is a Jacuzzi and a fire place that you can see from the feather bed. I really do love staying here. After a great night's stay you are served a delicious 3 course gourmet breakfast. You are treated like old friends. They also will help you have a great wedding.
There is a great place across the street called The Log Cabin Inn-Motel. Located at 42 Kingshighway. Call 800-254-9411 for more info. They are one of Eureka Springs best kept secrets. They have great rates and cozy and clean rooms. They are located on the historic loop and also offer a great view of the cottages when they are lit up at night.
